  7. We are excited to announce the following addition to our club rules as per the many requests from our members. Members may now enter a fish by photograph using measurement length and girth guide lines. Weights will then be calculated by a standard formula.

Please submit photo entries to  fish@thefinlandia.com

The photograph must accompany your name, membership number and date

INSTRUCTIONS:

Total length is the measurement from the tip of the snout to the tail (with the tail collapsed) in order to get the longest possible measurement. Total Girth is measured at the fish’s widest point.

EACH ENTRY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AT LEAST ONE CLEAR, DETAILED COLOUR PHOTO SHOWING FULL LENGTH SIDE VIEW OF THE FISH AND GIRTH MEASUREMENTS.

The fish should fill as much of the photograph as possible. The photograph should include a ruler or tailor (sewing) measuring tape along the side of the fish to verify length. Both the fish and ruler should be the same distance from the camera.

.**** Our regular Weigh stations are also still available to weigh in your catch if you so choose to.  However ONLY ONE  method of entry  will be accepted – the first entry received. ****

In case of a discrepancy the Finlandia Association Hunting & Fishing Club Committee has the final decision based on the information that was submitted
